Look what I found sitting on top of my roof today. Poor little guy must be lost since I do not live near any water and I believe that is where they normally hang out. He (or she) sure is beautiful. I hope he hooks up with the rest of the flock. I'd hate for anything to happen to it.
This is a picture of my mom and my uncle I recently had restored as a Mother's Day gift. I cannot stop looking at it. I see myself, my sister, my daughter and my grand daughter in her eyes. I wonder what they were thinking at the time. And I wonder, Mom who gave you that haircut?
Tomorrow as we celebrate the 4th, I will be thinking of the men and women serving our country in the military. Thank you for risking your lives for our safety and freedom. God bless you and keep you safe. I am proud of you and proud to be an American.
